Hi, mylotters.
can I delete my old discussions? I have few discussions with few responses and they have been here for few weeks without any new response. So I wanna to delete it, and create new discussions with similar contents.

You can't actually delete discussions you have started. You can close them by giving a best response to one of your responses. However, I have been told that when you become more estabilished in mylot your old discussions can suddenly get a lot more responses. So just because they haven't got many responses now doesn't mean they will always be like that.
I think you can ask mylot to delete your discussions for you, but your number of posts beside your name will decrease and you will lose out on any earnings you made from them, so it is best to keep them. Think of them as your personal history on mylot. You can still post a similar discussion so long as it is different from your original so it should not effect you too much.
Lots of people have discussions with low or no responses so you shouldn't feel too bad about them.

When a discussion has the best response awarded it becomes 'resolved' but not closed. New responses may still be added and they will earn just the same for the user who posts them.
If you post a discussion with a similar topic it could be deleted as we are told not to post about the same topics.
We can revive our older discussions by commenting on one or more of the responses. The discussion will then reappear at the top in the 'friends started' tab of those users on our friends list and will also be seen in the 'similar discussions' column on the right ---
when discussions with the same tags are open. It could therefore receive new responses, even more than first time round.

Those two examples yougive, in my opinion, are completely different topics.
What cats play with and what they eat are different.
It's when you do 'my cat eats x brand, what about yours' and then do 'does your cat eat the same brand as mine, mine eats x' that they are the same.
Hope that makes sense.

I have heard other people referring to resolved discussions as being closed. Glad you cleared that up for me:) Good idea to use the comment function to revive your discussions:)!
So it wouldn't be alright to post a discussion about lets say 'what cats play with', and then post a discussion which was also about cats that maybe went on a slightly different angle like 'what cats like to eat'? I thought this would be different enough to warrant another discussion? This is similar in topical interest but different aspect of what is discussed about the topic.

Staring another discussion with a similar topic would be cause for deletion too.
See below for some tips.

i think you can't delete your past discussions so easely and so you just push a button deleting that object you don't want here!!
may be you can write to the mylot administrators asking to delete some old discussions but normally it is the administrator too that dcide when a dsicussion should be deleted and when not on mylot i guess..
