Hello fellow Mylot users,
I have found a couple of options for making extra money for those that speak English as their first language. If you have skype, a PayPal account, and are over sixteen, you are elegible to coach spoken ENglish. Your lessons are provided and the goal is to get the students to speak natural ENglish.
The students pick their topic, and there is even the posibility of getting certified.
This place is free to sign up and youc an still use the system without certification.
Simply go to
www.samespeak.com
Be sure to enter your skype ID into the "my settings" page and you can give lessons for free. Payment is $10 per half hour lesson. You also can choose when you will be available to give a lesson so that students can book a lesson with you. The place is called SameSpeak.
The other place is a little more complicated. you can teach anything you know well, and you can choose to teach Live with the virtual classroom, or you can simply upload documents and make the whole course self-paced. You set your own price and this is great for teachers.
Oh, I believe Limu pays via PayPal. I know they will pay US residents via a check.
Sign up is free of course.
I hope this benefits many of you,
habeebi

Habeebi06, thank you, thank you so much for this information. :-) This is exactly what I have been searching for, as I always tutor people whom are foreigners of English. :-) I like the fact that the qualifications for this site are extrememly simple and that it does not take much to get started. :-) I am not sure if you know anything about this site or not, but I will ask anyway -- do you know how long this site has been in busy and also, do you know if this business is legit? :-)
Again, thanks so much for providing this information! :-)
