when did you plant your strawberries? if they are new to this year you will find more runners than you will fruit. the runners should be trimmed back to about a 1/4 inch to the plant. Make sure your plants are getting at least 6 hours of good sun light. and keep the ground moist. I hope this helps you out a bit. use some kind of netting over your plants. When they do start blooming the birds will eat them before you get a chance to. Good luck with your plants.

It could be several things. If you've transplanted them this year, they won't bloom much and sometimes it takes two years for them to really get established. Also, too much nitrogen encourages plant growth rather than fruit setting. Strawberries like a loose soil so if the soil is too dense around them, they may not fruit well.
Hope you figure it out!

I would ask you questions back. 1. Do they get enough sun. 2. Did you fertilize them, if so was it a high nitrogen fertilizer ( big number first). Either one of those things could be your problem. Other people may know more than I do about it though. I have not had strawberries in years, and mine did not get enough sun. Produced beautiful foliage, and very few berries as they grew on the north side of my house.
