Hello Winzheng. Since I am a writer, automation has made my job much easier and faster. The thing I feel most bad about is how many people have lost their jobs because automation "takes their place" in the work world. Karen

I work as a manager in a group home for disabled adults. I don't think any amount of automation will ever affect my job. There is always going to be a need to help people that are unable to take care of themselves. I have also been a Supervisor at a telephone company years ago. The whole operation was taken over by a new company that eventually closed the operator center and went automated. I had left just before that happened to expand my Adult Family Home, which is kind of like adult foster care for disabled adults. Blessed Be Mari aka Forest Moon
