hi , what you like in orkut

hi, i have account in both facebook and orkut..but i find orkut is very interesting as most of my friends are in orkut,plus its a easy way to see the scraps of others ,their profile upload phothos etc etc...the list goes..but the main disadvantage is ,the security is very less..most of the profiles are hacked...so better not to provide trivial information in orkut...

I have heard of orkut but I do not know anything about it. Do you know anything about what it is or does? It is a social networking place isn't it? I will see what others have to say about it also.

I dont like it because any stranger enters your profile and keeps writing there, if you set your scraps to private (means only your friends writing in your scrapbook) then you cant find your friends whom you have not added yet, but i like it to be connected to old friends.....you find some people to whom u had lost conatct from many years, its good to see them after so many years and also see their children's pics along with theirs.....on an average its ok

Well the advantage is that most of my friend is in Orkut. So that's the main reason that i joined it. I found so many old friends there whom i thought will never meet. Because of which i just love orkut. Disadvantage can be that, there is still more to go to reach the likes of facebook and all. Still i like orkut.

orkut is a good site for making friends from all over the world.we can share our ideas and chat with them. but don't allow an open friendship with everybody. first check out their profile

This is my favorite site and i spend most of times at orkut with my frineds abroad.

I dont see any disadvantages and advantages becuase i dont use too much orkut.Facebook is enough to surpass other social network for me.The only disadvantages with orkut when i log in is that i dont see my friend request.
