What things do you enjoy doing to bond with your daughter?

My daughter just turned eight a few months back and is growing way to fast and her interests are changing by the day. We used to do things together but now that she is getting older her attention span and her interest don't seem to last that long. I want to be close with my daughter but I sometimes feel that as she gets older that "bond" is not as strong. My husband and family are always telling me that I am nuts and that she is eight and I need to relax a bit but I still have my times :) So I was just wondering what some of you do or have done to keep busy with your daughter and try to keep that bond going?
