hi friends.just got the news that the list of 30 probables for the champions trophy is announced and had a few surprises too.
irfan pathan is out though i cant think of any valuable reason considering the list included pankaj singh, ajinkya rahane and a few other new faces .
the most important part is Dravid made to the probables list.yay and that too after a very long time.
i can never understand BCCI moves as long as they dont make dravid say I QUIT after the champions trophy is over.

Lovely to see dravid back , he adds stability and you gotta say it is needed . surprised to see irfan out and also sreeshant , i know lot of people have a thing against him , but last time he toured south africa in 2006 he took like 24 wickets in 3 test....or something close , so kinda surprising selectors dont look at things like that , in past years jimmy amarnath used to get called up for west indies everytime . Anyways , there isnt a confirmation about viru's fitness , we need him badly. And dravid must play if for a reason, urge him to play till 2011 wc.

sreesanth has some kinda back pain or side strain or something.his fitness is the only reason why he was not selected.

SURPRISE ,they brought Dravid in....There is no logic in bringing him in...Irfan Pathan is good alrounder that Indian team need...He has the ability to improve himself and with his Brother he can accompany well in the lower order and can turn the match situation....

It is a sad news that Irfan Pathan has not been selected in the squad of 30 probables for the champions trophy. The decision to bring Rahul Dravid back in the Indian side was entirely because of the current batsmen finding it difficult to play the rising delivery. The experience and guile of someone like Dravid is very much necessary now for guiding the youngsters in their gameplan for the future, so it might be a nice move and work in favour of the Indian team. Well, after all, Rahul Dravid was in such sublime form in the IPL 2 edition, so he might be looking to capitalise on that start in his comeback!!

hi,
its a bit surprise to leave irfan.i fell he is not given many options after his come back..plus i know dravid will find a place,as one down is still a problem with lots of shuffling between dhoni, raina, ohit sharma....but more youngsters could have given a chance..hope India win trophy..
