Rasmussen Report update

Rasmussen chart - Rasmussen tracking poll of President's approval ratings

Yes, it is true. In the popular Rasmussen Presidential approval tracking poll, the President's approval score has fallen to minus 2%. This score is calculated by subtracting the percentage of voters who strongly approve of the President from the percentage who strongly disapprove. 2% more strongly disapprove than strongly approve. Hence, the minus 2% score. Still, more people overall approve than disapprove of the President. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll I say that an extension of the trend lines on the chart at the link foretells an ominous future for the President's popularity. What do you say?

I'd say that people are starting to wake up to the facts. He is not making good on his campaign promises. He is spending more money faster than any previous President without any obvious benefits. He has not eliminated or even reduced "pork" in the bills that he is rushing through Congress; just so he can claim he is "doing something". And, the bills are being rushed through so that people don't have time to examine them and think about the consequences of these poorly thought out bills. He complained when the Big 3 Auto company CEOs flew to Washington in their corporate jets; but, he has constantly been on the go flying all over the country and the world in Air Force jets at government expense and even placed an Air Force jet at Michelle and the girls "disposal" so they could fly to Paris and London and go shopping and see the sights at taxpayer expense while people in the US are losing their jobs and homes. (And, they complained when the Republican Party provided a wardrobe for Palin! At least that was from political donations, NOT taxpayer dollars!)

"It is amazing anyone has so much gaul." Not really. Add together the celebrities, politicians, professional atheletes, and upper level business management, PLUS the crooks and con artists in our country and subtract 10% (people who have some common sense and decency) and every one of them has that much GAUL!

Speakeasy, I think the word "hypocricy" is too good a word to describe what they are doing. Perhaps the word "theft" would be more in order. Isn't that what they are really doing? Stealing the American people blind because they can.

I say the strength of the support for Obama's presidency is definitely waning. The layer of hysterical supporters that got him elected is seriously thinning as people are starting to look for real answers and not seeing the hope and change they were expecting. They realize blaming the previous administration for the problems is not going to solve them.

Yes, people are starting to realize and admit they were fooled. Not enough have thought it out, yet, but that time is coming.
