Mission Trip

My friend is taking a mission trip to Honduras on the 10th of this month. She has been praying a lot for guidance from God because things keep blocking her path over and over. She has encountered money problems, blew up her van, and had to take on a job to go on her trip. She scratched and saved to go and finally overcame her financial hurdles. She was not sure the struggles were God trying to tell her something or the devil putting up roadblocks. Now Honduras is in the middle of a political coup and I wonder if maybe it is God telling her not to go. She has many things to address at home that she has been struggling with and a trip to Honduras (mission trip or not) could make her other problems worse. So is God trying to tell my friend something or is it the Devil?
