Artest is on the Lakers, Shaq is on the Cavs, Rasheed Wallace is on the Celtics, Jefferson on the Spurs, Carter on the Magic along with many other trades and aquisitions this offseason. Who is your favorite to win the NBA championship next season and why?

Hmm, There are a lot of candidates who can win championship next season.. I gues One of the leaders could be Cleveland Cavaliers, now they made stronger Center position. Shaq is in starting, and another good bench center is Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Another candidate is Los Angeles Lakers. This team won this year, and got some ambitious to win next season championship award. Ariza is out from the team, but the line up is the same. So they have a lot of chances to win awar. Same thing is in Orlando Magic, the leader Howard still play for Orlando, no trades seems on team, just turkoglu. I think Denver Nuggets got ambitious in next season. They got a good starting lineup. Carmelo Anthonu, Billups, Kenyon Martin, Nene, The bench is powerfull too. L.Kleiza - i don`t know is he stay in Denver or go to other club, but i think he`s the best bench player in Denver. Houston Rockets. This team is strong too, without Yao Ming it will be more difficult to have a good results, but when he will back team will be strong enough to take all the teams and take a Championship rings. Boston Celtics got some chances to win, but I think they will not win. Yes, team got so good stars like Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rojan Rondo, Perkins, Ray Allen, the starting five looks the best in the league, but in this season they look not strong enough to win chamoionship, I think they have to change their gameplay, if they want to Get better place in playoffs, but not for a Champion name. And the last team: Chicago Bulls. Team is really good, the bench is the best in all leage, young, good basketball players are ready to take a hot place in nexy season Championship

Personally I think the Lakers have a very good chance to repeat. Despite losing Ariza, their acquisition of Artest gives them a great defensive player with scoring ability. I agree that the Nuggets have a very strong team and I like that they have role players such as Anderson who come into the game and wreck havoc on the glass. I think Cleveland is going to have a similar result because, even though they have Shaq, he isn't close to the Shaq of old and they really need better perimeter defensive players. With Rasheed on the Celtics and a healthy Garnett, the Celtics are my favorite in the East next season. I think it will be another Lakers-Celtics clash with the Lakers led by Kobe winning consecutive years.

It's very early to predict for now. Especially the trades and acquisition happened. Lakers got stronger but so as the Cavaliers, Spurs, Nuggets and so as the Celtics. It's a toss up and I cannot wait for the 2009-2010 NBA season to start..

It's still too early to tell. But on the present roster of the teams that are involved in trades and free agents acquisitions and barring any major injuries to key players, the favorite is still the Lakers with the Cavs as second favorite granting that Shaq will not be overweight and is injury-free.

I think it is the best to see in the finals the Cavs and the Lakers by next season,With the addition of Shaq to the line up Cavs.Kobe must prove he can win again the finals against Shaq and Lebron James. It is most sweet championship by Lakers and Kobe Bryant if he can win against his MVP Rivarly and the one who said,Kobe can't win a championship without him.

Can you say Shaq and LeBron James in the NBA finals next year beating the the Los Angeles Lakers? I do! The Cavs didn't really have a center until they traded for the Shaq man! Shaq will be the key to the Cavs getting to the Finals and winning a championship for James! It is a no brainer! I don't care for the Cavs or Lakers but my team the Bucks are years of getting to the finals, much less the playoffs!Anyway that is my toughts!

Little bit early to tell at this point. As things stand currently I see a Lakers repeat. One injury could change all that. Who will they face from the east? Not sure who is better at this point, Celtics, Cavs or Magic. Going to be an interesting season. Go Raptors!
