Hello to you :) You are in good company! I started a discussion not long ago about cartoons, and it seems many of us adults here on MyLot still love to watch cartoons. They are fun! And it is always good to laugh at something on the television.

i watch tv as much as possible, but my fiance is obsessed with his 360, so the only time i get to watch tv is late at night, when he is done playing but what i do watch when i get to watch it is house, and law and order suv, and daisy of love, and then a movie on usa or something, i do watch family guy and kiing of the hill, lol.. and i think that is about it, every now and then i watch the history channel, and then myth busters, i like that one to, but they dont show it much late at night.

Hello Amanduh. Cute way of spelling that name lol. So you live with a TV hog? Ack! At least you do get to watch some of what you like. I miss having cable, but gave it up. Some of the regular shows are pretty good, though. I also like House and King of the Hill, like you.

Hi Karen!
I am not much of a TV fan or addict. Instead, I love working on computer or go for reading. I do not much enjoy watching silly programmes on TV, except for an average half an hour in a day. If I sit in front of TV, it looks to me that I am an idot. I am not saying that watching TV is per se bad, however the choice differs from person to person.

Hi Karen!
Reading a book, in between watching TV programmes show that you are more interested in reading than watching TV. I agree that there may be some interesting prorammes, which we love watching once or twice a week, provided we have time and we have done with our other tasks.

Yes, it seems I must always be doing something else, such as reading, knitting, sketching, when "watching" TV. I guess it's just simply a major priority in my life lol.

Hi Deepak. Yes, we all have our own preferences. A friend and I each evening, in fact, even when the TV is on, always have a book each that we are reading. We just catch certain shows in bits and pieces, and he loves the news. Myself, I have never watched a lot. Even as a child, I preferred reading or art. There are a few shows I follow, so I watch probably 3 hrs. a week on average.

Hello friend,
I used to watch a lot of TV may be ten years ago but since we got internet connection available cheaply, I gave up my TV viewing hours and tried to spend the maximum time on the net. I only watch cricket, football and tennis on television. There is no fixed show that I watch. I try to catch up with the news whenever I get an opportunity to tune in to TV.

Hello Jshekhar. I think many of us are now on the internet in our spare time, or this is where we work, rather than watching as much TV as in the past. Thank you for sharing your preferences.

Hi Happy. I know for many people, it is how they like to relax, by watching television. I watch some of the CSI shows, and yes, they are interesting...always a good mystery to be solved or a criminal caught :)
Thank you for sharing your preferences.

Hello Ann. I do think our preferences in viewing change as the years go by. I watch little, but do like a several of my favorite shows, until this time of year when they are all reruns. I always watch tv with a book at hand anyway :)
