What would U do Different in Raising your kids if you had the chance?

The first thing I would do is to have listen to my Mother! What in the world was I thinking back then? Who was I to think I knew it all? I was young when I had my first child. I was only 18 teen yrs old and on top of that 10 months later had another one! I would not listen to know one and thought I knew it all. I thought that partying was still in the picture when raising my kids. what a mistake that was. I tried to do it all. live the life of an 18yr old and also of an adult mother & wife. I see now that partying and kids don't mix. It just wasn't just being high or drunk at night when I thought it would be OK if they were in Bed. I thought they would never know . Well was I ever wrong.It was the next day that I would really neglect there needs for the day . I was so mean & miserable too . My Mother told me to stop did I listen to her? NO! I said u did it.Oh How I forgot how it made me feel when I knew that something wasn't right going on down stairs and how uncomfortable I was and the fear that would run threw me if I would dare make a peep. Well I am sure and know now that my kids felt the same way . If there were one thing I could change in raising my kids is that I would of stopped the partying & being so selfish, Then I would of took what ever advise my mother gave me. I am so sorry Brian ,Scott & Lisa I love you all so much & very proud of all of you .
