Do you use your cell phone as calculator?

Yes I do use my cellphone as a calculator. Though Im also that lazy enough that Ill try to compute mentally.LOL I just sometimes find it troublesome to look for my cellphone in my bag which already has a lot of stuff. I sometimes put it in my bag when I was texting and need to get rid of it right away perhaps because class is already starting. Though if it was on my pocket I can get it but Im too lazy to press the keys locating the Organizer then scrolling to the Calculator and then typing. The OS of my cellphone isnt exactly that fast, and for quick smaller unit calculations I mightve been done solving mentally faster than taking out my cellphone for calculations. When the numbers are that huge or complicated like with many decimals and not whole numbers, well, my first reaction would be to ask my seatmate or friend, they'd try to solve it mentally while I try to solve it also. Then Ill look for my cellphone/calculator when I had enough mental calculations. If he/she cannot compute as fast, we would just laugh about it.LOL

I rarely do that, but still it's really useful.Mobiles are equipped with great tiny little stuff of course but calculator is not my favorite one ;)

I have a Nokia cell phone. the most basic model available in the market, as i don`t use it freqently and only during emergencies. Most of the time i use my landline which is more convenient. However the best feature of the phone is the calculator which i need and use very often. I had a seperate scientific casio calculator which i did not use very much. After getting my phone i gave the calculator away and now i use the phone calculator only which is most convenient.

My cell phone has built-in calculator, but I little use it, it's not very useful, but I still like this setting, if I want to calculate I can use the cell phone, actually I use my cell phone as a alarm.

yes i do. there was a time, i dint have calculator so for the time being i use my cellphone as calculator.

Oh yes I do used it a lot especially in my work where i have to always have a calculator at hand. The calculator in my cellphone helps a lot especially when I do small and simple computation. I work in a accounting department so i need lots of addition and subtraction in my computation and the calculator in cellphones can do simple and short additions of it. So I usually used it when I computting short numbers because using it for long addition of numbers could sometimes become confusing already especially when you are to compute long list of numbers the regular calculator is much more efficient.

Yes, I often use my cellphone's built in calculator feature. It is so convenient as I always have my cell phone with me so I always have a calculator with me. I am glad that most of the cell phones nowadays have calculators in them because sometimes I need to perform some complicated math problems and just cannot do them in my head. I often use the calculator at the store to figure out how much an item is that is say 70% off or something like that. Also when I am very broke and only have a little bit of cash to buy groceries then I just keep track of the items on my calculator as I put them in the cart. I have had many cashiers give me a confused look when I present them exact change down to the penny as soon as they hit the total button. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Yes, I do use the calculator on my cell phone sometimes. It is convenient when I am trying to figure out the tip on a restaurant tab. Also it comes in handy when I am shopping too. I also use it for work too to figure out estimated costs for clients.

yeah i use it alot its at the point were if i use one that isn't a cell phone one i feel wired.

Yes, many times, in fact most of the times, it is handy and easy, to use it. I also use my cell phone as watch also, quick to view time and do basic scheduling and keep the remainders. It is a good gadget if you use it in a proper way, depending on the functionality of your model, it can be used as even palmtop or mini computer for your basic functioning. But dude if you are a student avoid taking it in your exams rooms or will be dangerous

If possible, I will not use cell phone as calculator cause I feel that it is very inconvenient (may be because my cell phone is a bit old). If I have a pen and paper with me or I am not in rush, then I will use pen and paper for my calculation. I used to put a small calculator in my bag last time, but it had lost. Since then I no longer bring along a calculator wherever I go.

yes i use now. because i have lost my calculator. Now the mobile is there always and so I used it as calculators.

I never thought about my cellphone having a calculator on it, I always carry a small one in my purse and I'm always pulling it out. Next time, I need it I'll use my phone it would be easier than digging around in my purse..haha

I do the same my, friend. It is usual for us, to use our cell phones as calculator because we are not a mathematician either..lol. This is actually a gadgets that we can connect to internet...if you cell phones is new?

Oh yeah, i do use my cell phone as a calculator. In fact in the past I have had old cell phones, that I stopped paying for, but still kept and charged just for the tools. I think it is practical to have a multitask device in hand. Not all phones now offer this feature. I now have a regular monthly plan and subscription provider cell company. a few months ago, I had to go into one of their stores to get a loaner replacement while my phone was being fixed. it was the most aggrievating thing not to have a calculator tool available. Strange enough though, this phone still had a camera on it!-

I am not using calculator of mobile regularly but I have my individual calcultor and I love to work on it. Ya I have calculator in my mobile and in immergency and absence of my calculator I use mobile calculator, It helps in emmergency so I love this feature in Mobile.

I always use my cellphone as a calculator. Very convenient than bringing a separate one.
