Who on the earth says that Diamonds are metals
What you call Oil- its Black Gold
What does currency means-It means amount of gold you have or you own
So Gold is Precious
Also Artificial Diamonds are there in market but never the artificial gold
Also tell you one thing Diamond and Graphite or Pencil are chemically same

"Gold" any day is worth to keep as important wealth. It is accepted worldwide. It is not useful to make jewelery but there are several other uses too. If you compare gold and diamonds then undoubtedly gold has high ratio because men too prefer to wear that where as diamonds attracts more to women.

The main reason is diamond is precious than gold and not everybody can easily get it unless you are very rich. Diamond doesn't have good resale value like gold. It is not easy to get mondy by giving diamond from pawn broker. Becauase of all these reasons gold is widely used in India than diamond.

first of all diamond is not a metal...its a very precious stone!
for me, both are precious and expensive...gold is more widely ued for its easier to have it i think...coz golds can be available in lower carats and thus lower price...but diamonts...real diamonds are really expensive...
in a jewelry, we can have a gold jewelry without a stone...but diamonds on jewelries give it a higher value and more beauty...

Gold is a precious metal and it can come in 9 carrot gold or 18 carrot gold. It is highly sought after. Silver is not as special and cheaper to purchase. Diamonds are the most precious stone in the world. They are put into expensive necklaces, bracelets, rings and ear rings. The necklace might be 9 carrot gold with one medium sized diamond. I would be able to afford gold jewelry but diamonds are way too expensive for me. I wonder what the prices are like in India.
