Pirates of the caribbean VS lord of the rings

Hi friend, to me Lord of the Rings is the better movie than Pirates of the Carribean. LOTR has the better screenplay and visual effects. The number of Oscars won by LOTR justifies it. The second and third part of LOTR is one of the best mythical movies which fulfilled the expectations of most of the people.

Well since im not that big of a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean ill take Lord of the Rings any day of the week. I think those movies are way better then pirates of the carribean they have better special effects a better storyline and better acting. So I perfer those movies then Pirates of the Carribean.

action and effects-wise, it's got to be pirates of the carribean. the characters were amazing and the whole concept was very well-thought of. but then again, i absolutely love johnny depp. LOL ^_^ LOTR was also amazing in such a way that the characters were mythical and the story was deep yet superb. used to joke that sam was much in love with frodo though. wahahahahahaha ^_^ PS. dont forget to rate and comment! thanks! ^_^ happy MYLOTTING! =)

I personally like the LOTR movies better. Pirates was good in the first film, but by the third film it just got ridiculous to me. Fountain of Youth, Edge of the World, and secret pirate lords? idk it was too over the top after the first one. I know lotr is a fantasy, but its one of the best I have ever read and Jackson did a really good job with depicting it, although the whole love thing with Aragorn and Arwen was alittle overdone.

Hi kowshk Its very tuff quesn...both are gud muviz and different genre muviz :) so its hard to chose which one is best..but my pick ll be lord of the rings..I feel lord of the rings better than pirates of the carribean..
