I think the reason why we do not have todays' Isaac Newtons, Galileo Galileis and the like, is because we spend too much time watchings soapies, getting stuck in rush hour traffic, watching too much of movies and all other sorts of so called entertainment. We over-indulge in these things instead of conducting research, studying and concentrating on innovation/creativity. We need to change this way of doing things if we are to survive in this world. The world is growing but our innovations to solve the resultant of the earth's growth is zero. No wonder why we have so many unsolved problems and deseases.

I agree. When kids/adults are given everything they want, there is no need for them to create, learn, or use their imagination. If people don't feel the need to learn or be creative, then how will new inventions be created, or new scientific discoveries be made?
