Congrats, it must really feel wonderful. I know a few people who have won big big money. One family who lived in my home town won over $5 million, a relative of my wife's brotherinlaw won over $6 million and a guy from here who won $100,000. The last two blew the money and were worst off after.
I don't play it but my wife does, she's never won anything above $200 but on scratch cards she's won $7,777 and a few $500's. I'm not that lucky so I rarely buy those either.
My wife goes to Bingo's once in a while and has won or shared in Jackpots with friends.
You should tell us how much you won so we can all hit you up for a loan...LOL. Congrats again, spend it wisely and I hope it brings you happiness and freedom from bills for the rest of your lives.

It's actually more than 5 Million dollars in your currency. I think my hubby and I are gonna use this wisely and let it grow from time to time. am not gonna waste it like any other lottery winners out there. i heard a story too that a family won the lottery and spent it in a hotel,5/6 loan and other stuff, till they lost it all and went back to their normal lives.

WOW...that's a good chunk of money and you can survive for the rest of your lives on if you use it wisely. I can only imagine the emotions that you have went through but I bet they were all good ones. I would be happy to win a fraction of that and would try to make the best use of it. It's just so easy to rush out and buy a couple new vehicles, a new house, take vacations, buy expensive toys and gifts for others. It wouldn't last long that way. There are people who can give you advice on how to invest it and make earnings from it but you still have to be careful with that. I wish you and yours all the best and hope that your new wealth will bring you happiness and a life of being worry-free of money problems.

It was actually tempting when my hubby and I discussing about travelling to Us to visit Mj's grave but he's a realist and he thinks we have more problems to address to now that we have the money. like bills to pay, mortgage, taxes and others. he wanted us to start our own business.

Hi dear!
No amount could be enough. Whatever you have got through lottery or going to get, keep enjoying the amount, if you do not want to give the same to your hubby's family, you may keep it a secret, provided your hubby can keep this secret with him.

Am afraid this lottery win is enough for me and my family, (and my hubby's family). I haven't told them yet about the winnings because they might for some more likely every other day, so i would rather keep it a secret.

wow! congratulations! Well, my boyfriend and I have been trying our luck in the lottery around 2 years ago, and we haven't won anything. Actually I think the closest we got was getting 3 out of the 6 numbers. LOL. we are not really lucky people, the we know much. LOL. Well, there is still no harm in trying right? Congratulations again, I hope your luck will rub off to us. LOL.

We weren't lucky before and i don't think prayers doesn't help that much either when it comes to lottery.but if you keep betting on your numbers and not changing them they will eventually appear in time and most likely at the time when you either don't bet or least expected.have a great day

I agree that's the LOw part of that being a lottery player. most people get addicted becomes a gambler, i remember LK telling me he bought almost 10$ worth of raffles and he only got half the price

Congrats, My suggestion is to seek the advice of a financial advisor and invest the majority of the money. Take a part and set up an inv=come fund that will pay you a monthly salary. After a few years start to draw from you investment to do the things you really wanted to do. Too many people who win the lottery try to do and buy everything at once.
One other suggestion is to mvoe to a community wher no one knows that you won the lottery and tell everyon that you have a consulting business and do most of your work at home. This may help with all the free loaders looking for a hand out from you and will help you live a more normal life.
When people do ask for money suggest a good bank.

that's a great idea there bob, maybe we should do it to prevent more suspicion. some one almost expose us but luckily my hubby had the other ticket that he used the same day i used mine when we won that jackpot, we were able to fool them with the wrong ticket we used.

WOW! Congratulations! I think it is best if you spend the money wisely and do save as much as possible. I know that the taxes will probably take a good chunk out of any earnings you will receive. Please share with your respective families if you feel that you want to. I know I would share with my family. Just be careful about long lost relatives and friends that will show up out of the woodwork once they find out you have won. Good luck to your future endeavors!

THat's why no one's gonna know about it. were not going to buy a new house or go to some cruise. we will pay all the bills first, including tax yearly. then, we would build a small business, then if my relatives asked where we got money, i will tell them that i got from loan and 50% from our savings. that way he and i can save money...this is crisis times and can't afford to spend it relentlessly.

Congratulations! Just remember that you have to pay taxes (which equals TO about half of your winnings). It's very responsible of you to plan paying bills with part of your winnings. I'm impressed!
You go enjoy yourself, now!

I think they would have deducted that from the Winnings. Yes, Bills are first priority, for we are half away from paying all the bills. and probably soon he and i would probably start our own business. i will enjoy myself later...besides, we don't know when he and I are gonna win like this again.
