When I was a kid,I felt very scared to be alone at home in the nights.I used to check the back of every doors, look under the cots, close the windows, put on lights to sleep.Covering the entire body, head to toe with a blanket,I tried to sleep. But a little strange noise would scare me as you have told.I would close my eyes tight and praying to god, slept those days. But now as an adult I have no fears like that.I can sleep anywhere and live alone without any fear.Cheers!

No, I'm not scared to be alone at night. I suggest you to watch TV or listen to the radio to avoid hearing other sound of your imaginations. Always think there is nothing there and if there is you are a strong person to face it. Keep torch light and a piece of wood handy. In case, you may not know what's out there!
