what is the meaning of music for you???

As a musician, music is about expressing my feelings in a clever, praise worthy way.

To me, music is a release. I listen to heavy metal, and drum and bass. I like to listen to drum and bass at night time whilst I read. Its like an alternate reality, you can listen your music and you feel as though everything around you has no existence. The world around you can not penetrate your thoughts. Although heavy metal seems like it can get you riled and annoyed, it does the opposite to me. Listening to it keeps me sane in stressful situations. Music plays a large part in my life, both listening to it, and playing the drums. I want to start a band, but i feel as though I am not dedicated enough. I love music! ??????

Music, for me, expresses all my inner feelings. If it isnt me making up my own lyrics, it is me listening to a song that feels as if someone looked into my heart, saw what i was feeling, and put it on paper. It makes me feel understood.

Music is the language of angels, so they say. I love country and folk music on the radio. I used to enjoy jazz and pop when I was younger. I disco dance and ballroom dance with the appropriate music. I go to concerts and recitals for the music of the masters - the classic. I don't like bands. Very loud and most often, off key.

I agree with you totally. Music is tranquilizing and is a medium of expressing one's self. If also find music to be very spiritually awakening and can enhance one's spiritual awareness.
