have you ever read someone's private writing without his/her permission?

journals, emails, diaries, letters? yeah, i have done that already. many times actually. hehe, especially when my friends borrow my cell phone to text someone. not knowing it's not meant for me, i open the message and then say sorry to my friend for having read the message for her.

I used to read my sister's diary.. of course, without her consent or knowledge, or else, she would beat me..HAHAHA

Yes...I have read my friend's diary...not accidentally, but deliberately. He was out of town and we were sharing an apartment and when I saw his dairy, I wan just unable to resist myself and I read few pages. But, I did one good thing...as soon as he came back and we sat for a drink, I told him the truth. He said he know as the dairy was not kept as he used to keep it but he has already forgiven me...

I've read my grandmother's journal twice. I didn't set out to do it though. Once was as a kid. I was curious and then saw she had written some not too nice stuff about me. I was staying with her for a weekend and she had written that I was lazy just because I didn't jump up to do busy work that she had given me. Then the second time just happened a few months ago. I was in her chair feeding my son and just happened to glance down and see my name. So ofcourse I had to read what was written about me. It felt like a personal attack. Needless to say her and I don't have much of a relationship now.
