The best book for me is the bible it is the complete book. If you are reading it you can notice that it is like you travel to other places. all the narration indicates the history and all the happening before and after Christ. It is written by people inspire by God and the content serve as a guide and law of all the believers. I think the choose of book depend on the like of the person and what she or he perceives as a source of inspiration and guidance.

Hi ghazardent, I think the best book ever written has got to be one of the English classics which is repeatedly enjoyed by each new generation. I would choose 'Jane Eyre' by Charolotte Bronte as it was the first book showing the independance of a woman. Interestingly books then weren't accepted by publishers by women writers so she had to use the pseudonym Curan Bell. It is a wonderful book which depicts a woman having to make her own way in the world for the first time, previous novels had all shown women as society creatures and not independant. The characters are marvellous, from Jane, Mr Rochester, to the infamous mad woman in the attic. To anyone who has never read it it is a must.

Oh wow. I think that the best book every made was Macbeth by william shakespeare. It is such a wonderful story. I really love anything by shakespeare. He was a wonderful playwright and completely understood the actor. He was a completely artist with words and that's why we still appreciate his work to do this day. I also really like Hamlet but not as much as Macbeth.

Undoubtedly the bible is the best book ever written. The beauty of the bible lies in the veracity of its content and its ability to meet the need of those who apply it to their lives. It is unfortunate that many resort to interpret the bible to suit their desire and sometimes try to make God a lier.

The bible is the best but if you are looking for something other than that I would have to say that JK Rowling is one of the best writers. I know that it is Harry Potter but her writing just sucks you in. You cant stop reading the books until you have finished.
