Uniteds Biggest Threat in the 09/10 Season

Which team do you think is most likely to challenge for the premier league title and ultimatly come second (sorry, biad) to Utd. Last season Liverpool pushed us all the way but I can't see how that team will improve next season with all the proposed exits. Chelsea seem pretty static at the moment and they'll need new players if they're to mount another effective campaign. Arsenal may come good at last or it may just be another team of 'potential stars'

Liverpool surely are the biggest threat....last season they beat us 4-1 on our home turf with Ronaldo and Tevez in the team .....don't know what will this year when Ronaldo is gone....they have the same team and they will surely make some additions in the summer transfer window.....Some might say that Manchester city are also threats but i don't agree with them at all....spending big bucks doesn't really takes them anywhere near us.....Liverpool and Chelsea(with a new manager) are the threats as usual.....

I'm biased towards Man Utd too, but I also try to be realistic and respect our rivals. After all without a rival the Premier League would be boring, and we have pretty strong challengers. The biggest threat to us next season will be Chelsea and Arsenal again. Arsenals young players have enough experience now to cause us some problems, but that also means they'll take points off the other big teams. I'm not sure about Liverpool, they haven't really been consistent since they last won the Premier League. But they'll definitely finish in the top 4 or 5 as they always do. Man City is a club we cannot joke about anymore, their owners are filthy rich and they can splash out quite a lot of money rather easily without any financial problems for the company. I don't think they'll finish in the top two though, if they're lucky they can take points off the top teams and finish 3rd or 4th. In the end however, Man Utd will probably win the Premier League again making us truly the greatest football club in British history.

liverpool have not lost any players at the moment and they are likely to push you. They have not bought a lame striker who is past his peak to replace tevez in OWEN worst signing ever. Also next season if Torres stays fit for longer liverpool will win last season they only lost 2 games that is less than Man Utd who liverpool thumped 4-1! Also replacing ronaldo with valencia is a bad move there no where near in the same league! Man Utd have weakend there side liverpool have kept their squad and looked to strengthen it and as such they will WIN the league this coming season!
