Okay. The truth is everytime one part of your life seems to get together that's when the other parts come tumbling down. Here I am trying to pick up every single thing that I have ever known and make since of it but it will not fit together. I guess what one of my high school teachers told me about life is true. After she told me what she did I conjured up this quote, "Life is pain, pain is good because without it there will be no growth." Most people can't make any sense out of this quote, but it makes perfect sense to me, and I believe that if you don't understand it maybe life has not touched you yet like it has touched me. There is nothing wrong with that. Some people just have to play the hand that they have been dealt whether they like it or not. If one can be powerless in the nature that they have known all their life how can they possibly be powerful in a foreign one? That is when negativity takes over and you can't see the positive anymore. It becomes a blanket of dust, and no one can calm it, but yourself. The problem is figuring out how to unveil this sweet power that everyone has locked away inside of them fighting to come out. Has life gotten to you yet?

I have found that in life things don't always go as you planned. This can, of course, be either a good or a bad thing. For me, this summer was meant to be great. I had wonderful plans, which I will discuss later if anyone is interested, however these were shattered. One of the key points of my summer is gone, and I have had to change plans. This is unfortunate but not a total loss. I have learned a lot this summer, and spent time with friends. It means that things will be harder for me in the future, but this is something I have to take into account and overcome.
The quote that you mentioned, I understand but I disagree with it. Life is pain - but only sometimes. The amount of pain varies, and some people have more of their fair share. Pain is not good, unless for masachistic purposes. Pain itself is never good, however the learning that comes with it is good. This learning can be simple, such as 'ow, I'm touching something hot' which can prevent us from hurting ourselves or from making an injury worse. This, I expect, is not the pain that you are refering to. The deep, inner pain that comes with great sorrow, dissappointment or dispair can often feel like the more simple, phisical pain that we as humans experience every day. This pain is part of what is is to be human. It is not the pain itself which is good, but the way it changes us once we are relieved from that pain. It can make us relate to others who have experienced similar pain (such as the loss of a loved one), it can inspire us to reach beyond our circumstances, and it can create in us a desire to inovate and think. You say that without pain there is no growth; I don't think that this is true. I say that there can be growth without pain, however the greatest achievements of mankind have been inspired by a desire to avoid pain, whether that pain be physical or internal. In this way, pain is indeed good.

You seem to understanding most of life as any one could . One fact that should be understood about life is that it changes. Everything is temporary.Your happy moments WILL pass, sad moments will pass. But that does not mean that Happy moments will be replaced by sad times, they may be replaced by HappIER times. bt sometimes by sad times also. Life does take away the things we like but only to give something but in it's stead. Although that may take some time. You seem to have learned a lot from it
