What does the media coverage say about America?

First off, it's sad that American news has turned into a tabloid - TMZ type news for the greater part of 2 weeks. Secondly, the guy was a freak and we're celebrating him like Jesus Christ. The guy was a drug abuser, slept with children, turned himself into a sideshow with multiple plastic surgeries. This is the kind of person that gets 24/7 coverage in America? What the hell is wrong with people? There are decent good folk out there and we're talking about this freak!

Our society feeds into the drama. To keep ratings our new reports feed more into the air waves. Before we know it the only thing on the tube is pure garbage. It was interesting to see news from other countries such as the BBC and out of Ireland. There I learned things about our own USA that our news never showed. Heroics done over seas, charity works and more. Our people need to pay attention to these stories on our own stations so that the garbage can be forgotten.
