My boyfriend got me the best gift on Feb. 14 2009. He came home with a bulldag puupy. I fell in love at first site.. He was sooooo cute. As he grew I fell more in love. He is the best dog I have ever had. He listens so good. He never wants to leaves my side and he is great with the kids.. About 3 month ago we woke up to find something in his eye, we were hoping it would go away but the next day it just got bigger. So we took him to the vet. He told us it was cherry eye, he said it would be aboout $350 to remove it, bit then he said it was fine it didn't hurt him and there was no reason to get it removed other then the fact that it's ugly. Witch it is.. He said if we where to get it removed there is a chance that his eye will not tear right and he would have a life time full of eye problems.. But like I said it's just a chance that will happen if i get it removed. I don't know what to do. It looks soooo bad and pain full. If you where me would you get it removed?

I feel so sorry for your baby bulldog, I can understand your worries as I was really worrying when my dog was sick too. If the cherry eye doesn't harm him, then it may be better to just leave it like that, instead of removing it but having problems in future. Maybe you can find more information about the cherry eye and see if there are any ways to cure it without doing the surgery?

How lucky you are! I have alwasy desired a bulldog but haven't got one because my family would not allow me to keep one. I don't have time to care for him, feed him and walk him. I only want to play with him
