What is the strangest way that you have seen chocolate served?

Is there a time or way when you saw chocolate served that you felt was odd? I was recently at a friend's home and she served melted chocolate at breakfast to drizzle over eggs. I found the idea of scrambled eggs with chocolate gross!

Apparently a lot of people enjoy chocolate-covered ants. REAL ANTS! I don't know if I would be able to handle ants, but I would try a bite of the eggs. I've seen ketchup put on eggs, too, but I think it's just gross.

Wow people are determined to serve chocolate with breakfast! At the boardwalk we saw chocolate covered bacon, yes bacon. It could go with your eggs. Also I have a quick story for you. One morning I told my father he could not give my kids chocolate milk for breakfast, he agreed that since I said no that meant no. When I got out of the shower a half hour later or so my kids where happily eating chocolate oatmeal. Grandpas will work around you ;)

I cannot top you at all on that one. I would have said peppers dipped in chocolate, but I may be imagining that one. I love chocolate, and I am fond of scrambled eggs, but heavens to betsy, not together.

The strangest way that I have seen would have to be bacon dipped in chocolate. I don't know if this is not so strange in your country. However, Even though I think it is kind of strange, I regretted not tasting it because since I like bacon and I like chocolate, I might like bacon dipped in chocolate too. lol. :)

That sounds disgusting. The strangest way I've seen chocolate served is with those mint chocolate candies. I think they are a terrible taste combination. I like mint and I like chocolate. But together, it is simply disgusting. Let me put it like this: I'd rather try chocolate covered eggs than mint chocolate candy

It does sound gross, but did you try it or even asked her where she got this idea from? I grew up with chocolate sandwiches. We made the chocolate spread with that thick condensed milk and a few teaspoons of Quick chocolate drink powder mix. Now my kids are just using chocolate icing on sandwiches or toast. I also heard there's a Mexican meat dish cooked in chocolate. Ickky!!!

When my daughter was living at home a friend of hers came over to watch telly with us for the evening. He brought with him a packet of candy bananas, a large block of chocolate and some mandarins. It was sort of chocolate fondue I guess....he melted the chocolate and we dipped in banana and mandarin segments. I had never had that before...it was wickedly yummy. Chocolate on eggs does sound gross, I'll take my Worcestershire sauce any time thanks.

Well, I would not want to imagine the 2 together. It don't seem nice and delicious to me. I like chocolates, but I would not want to eat them in strange combination. I do eat chocolate with bread, chocolate with waffles, chocolate with fruits (fondue), chocolate drink, cakes etc... However, I don't think I will ever want to try chocolate with eggs, or other strange combination.
