What do you do when you lose interest in school?

I have been bored with school recently. I have about two more weeks for two of my classes and til the end of the month on another. The fourth class just started this week. I find that I am having trouble focusing on school now. I also found that I was spending a lot of time just going from one email account to another and then to facebook then to each of the school sites to see if any new information came in. Now I am back here and hoping to feel a little more interested in life. I wish I could start over again!!! I don't like feeling like this. What do I do????!!!

set your goal and what will you get after you achieve your goal. for eg: goals: finding interest at school why?: If I put a lot of interest in every subject, I will score high in my exam and my mother will reward me with an iphone. good luck

I wish I could use that as a reward. My mother has been gone for over 10 years. I went back to school for the love of learning. I think the biggest problem is that I am having trouble getting used to the format that this class follows. I worked on it a little bit last night and found that it would be really nice to be able to collaborate with other students in the class, but it is forbidden. Thanks for the suggestion. Have a great day!!!

Try to find something you're interested in in your classes. Sometimes, a part of school is getting through the courses we don't rly have an interest in but have to take. Also, maybe you can find a little motivation by hanging out with or talking to students who graduated with the same major as you, and like their jobs. I'm not sure what your major is, but if you do some research on the job you can get from your major, that may motivate you. Also, you can find more interest in your schooling by getting involved in different organizations. This will help you meet other students with the same interests as you. Sometimes, leaving your comfort zone and meeting new people can make all the difference. Also, talk to some of your professors, and ask them questions about careers and whatnot. This will show them that you're interested in them and in learning, and they'll be able to give you some good advice. Hope this helps...

Thanks. Actually, it is just a matter of the last few days, I have felt pressured to not be on the computer as much. I usually do my games on facebook in the morning and then I usually try to get some homework done. The astronomy class is hard for me to get into because it is different from the geology class and I am not allowed to make contact with anyone other than the instructor for both of those classes. I also have two education classes (my major) and those will be done in two weeks. I did go down today and join the student Missouri State teachers association so that I would have the liability insurance they provide to students in the teaching field. I guess I should just try to get into some groups and also try to find a job. I just wish this paid well. Have a great day!!!
