So there's a category here on MyLot for Associated Content. Obviously then, this is perfect for my discussion. AC just left me a sweet message telling me that one of my articles earned an Editor's Choice and is featured on the front page of "Health and Wellness." http://www.associatedcontent.com/health_wellness/?content_type_id=5&cat=5 Wow! This is good for me, and hopefully gets me a ton of traffic. We have yet to see. Has anyone else received any honors from AC and does MyLot hand out such honors?

I am not aware that mylot does hand out any such honors or rewards. But this is great news for you on Associated content. I read the article and even recommended it to others. I thought that you did very well in writing it and that it was easy to follow and I liked the information. Have you thought of publishing in health magazines?

Thank you, that is so sweet. I'll have to give some health magazines a quick perusal or something like that. It's hard to get to people to publish anything though. They usually have inhouse writers. But you never know. Thanks again. You're wonderful.

Congrats! That is really great. I have recieved two badges from associated content since writing for them for five years. I have recieved the top 1000 for 2009 and the top 1000 for 2010. I am very proud to see them displayed on my associated content profile. They make my associated content profile look very fancy lol. Congrats again!

I would find some time to read it. Did you post the wrong url because it showed this:
The content you're looking for is temporarily unavailable.
It's a great feeling to have some sweet success in any given site at all. It feels great definitely to win an award in some sense. Have more luck..

Way to go!
I've not written for Associated Content in ages and in fact only have maybe a dozen articles out there. I should go back to it, but I just can't get going and concentrate for any length of time.
I think the equivalent here on myLot would be the top discussions of the day. Those definitely get more traffic because people see them more often on the home page and also in the email we get for myLot digest every day. I would guess that the more people that see it would result in more responses, which should get you a bit more in earnings, in theory anyway.

Congratulations! I mainly have slide shows on AC for the moment to help with page views. I have been focusing on helium (see my profile) to build up writing stars.

It took me a minute to figure out helium (about a month actually) but when I saw that first penny in earnings I got excited and started writing more and I recently acquired my 3rd writing star. My passive income was almost $1 this past week and my goal is to get it up to $1 a day before the end of the year.
I want to get AC up to where my helium account is but I only have a few weeks before school starts up again and lesson planning takes over my life.

Congratulations on your recent article. I'm not a member of Associated Content. Never thought I could meet their criteria for writing articles. As far as I know, myLot only offers the best response for a conversation. If there is something else offered, I don't know about it.
Good luck in the future with AC,

That is pretty cool! AC didn't always have honors like that. My articles have been up on the front page in the past, but it was before performance views were given out and all of that stuff.
I just barely started writing again. I want to write more because I'm trying to be able to afford some cool stuff, but I have just seem to run out ideas for the most part.

That's great news for you, and of course, you know that right now they have a contest going on at Associated Content on health and wellness, so you might have an inside track to winning.
Once my article on Utah's National Parks was featured in the section with travel. It was nice and gave me a little wider audience. I am sure that those who make it onto the front page of AC really get great views. Not as many people really focus on the inside pages. (Sorry, not trying to rain on your parade.)
Keep up the great writing work!

I do not like AC because I am not living in the US.
I prefer Triond, Mylot and Live Journal for several reasons.
The bet thing you can do to make money on these sites is to be honest and genuine..
People are already tired of money maker person type guy
