Whats you favorite weapon in Halo?

This discussion is what is your favorite weapon in any of the halo's. My has to be the sniper because of the accuracy and the distance and also it has a lot of power. Please tell me why that's your favorite.

I have only played Halo a little, but I really like the rocket launcher. My buddies and I accidentally blew ourselves up when we tried to shoot someone around the corner.
