Love?? Well honestly I don't have my own definition of what love is, but I can understand it through the Bible. So I'd say I'll still hold on to the standard definition of love as seen in 1 Cor 17. =D "Love is patient, love is kind.. blah blah etc.". I believe no person on earth has that kind of love, like when the passage says "love is not jealous" because how can you love a person if you don't feel any slight hint of jealousy??
Another definition about love that I've seen in the Bible (which works best for me and to all others) is that "Love overcomes all fear". It applies in all situations.. Like for example, each time I doubt on the person, I just need to have lots of love to overcome my fear of approaching that person.. Or like when a person is in danger, I only have to have enough LOVE to save that person amidst danger.. From this Bible passage, I learned to shift my thoughts from fear to LOVE.. =D At first I thought "guts" or "courage" are the things we need to overcome our fears in life, but when I learned about this Bible passage I came to realize that it's only LOVE that we all need.

Well it seems you know a lot about the bible. I think that love does have a lot of what you said here. To me there is love and there is true love. True love battles through whatever it has to. I believe that and I feel I try and practice that as well. I think people should learn to more giving and this includes myself. Thank you for your thoughts and happy mylotting to you.

When I heard the word love, the first thing comes up my mind will be girl; flowers; kisses; hugs; and marriage. That can be different when you are in different mood. If you are in a frustrated situation, the image comes up your mind would be totally different then. Keep in mind that, we will have different imagination in different situation.

Girl huh? I wonder why girl comes to your mind. Maybe you can explain a little more about why you choose that as a word that comes to your mind. Let me know and thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion. Happy mylotting to you as well.

The first thing that comes to my mind is my fiance, another is kissing, holding, scratching his head or back, holding his hand, letting him lay on my shoulder when he's tire, laying on his shoulder when I'm tired, singing, praying together, talking together, planning together, Love birds.

Unconditional comes to my mind love no matter what when it comes to your kids and loved ones.Being there making that person feel like you want to feel.Cared for and a best friend.Someone to rely on and be there for you.Share lifes trial and tribulations with and back them up and stand by them, hugs, kisses, flowers and chocolates are also a good part of love ,showing love is the best gift in the world and if a few diamonds come along your way as well ,that is just a bonus ,not essential.I hope this makes sense,it is the meaning of love as I see it.

Sacrifice. The measure of one's love for another can ALWAYS be measured most accurately by what they are willing to sacrifice for that person. If you want to find out how much someone really loves you.. all you have to do is find out what they are willing to give up in order to make it work and to be there when you need them. The same can be said vice versa. Think you love someone? How much are you really willing to give up in order to make sure they are your world. I'm not really talking about material things like cars, houses, or money. I'm talking about time, compassion, and dedication.

"love"its a feeling, its comes from inside your heart and mind......usually heart and mind don't get agreed simultenously for anything......but when loves happen they both agreed on the decision.....love can't be seen it could be just felt.....if you want to feel it right now....than just close your eyes and try to figure him or her out vry near to ur ears......and try to hear "i love you" from him/her and remember their smile......you will find your hairs have straightened......if this happen than you just felt a very little of love of him/her!!!!!"do try it once..........

Hello there,
The first thing that comes to mind is devotion. Whether it be a pet, a child or a mate...devoting time to take care of them, make them happy or just make them feel better. It's that feeling you get when you're out grocery shopping and you pick up a can of tuna for the kitties or some ice cream for the kids. You do it because you love them and you know it will bring a smile to their face.
Don't forget chocolate! lol

Hmmmm....love....lots of things comes to mind for me.
Risk, reward, affection, hand holding, God, sensitivity, kisses, flowers, love notes, romantic phones saying I was thinking of you, a gift from that special someone with a message only you and he/she understand, marriage, thoughtfulness, consideration, devotion, loyalty, partner, family, caresses, slow dancing, and romantic getaways.
I could go one, but heck I would be here all night.
