If you mean 'literally foretells actual events,' no. It doesn't even claim to do so. Its claim is that it is what it is: recollections of a vision by a man in exile. Are people's interpretations of it 'accurate'? Kinda. You see, the world is made of of many 'worlds' (systems, nations, states, businesses, etc.) that begin and end in pretty-much the same pattern. Revelation pretty-much fits the pattern of worlds begun-and-ended by their creator.

I believe that the book of Revelations is accurate however what we are experiencing right now in wars, famines etc is nothing compared to what it will be like during the tribulation but first Christ must return for His church. I whole heartily believe in the book of Revelation. If you would like more info here are some sites that either have bible studies on it or books on it www.precept.org there is a 4 part study by Kay Arthur on here under precepts upon precepts and it is wonderful I am on the second part right now. www.perrystone.org Perry is a wonderful teacher and preacher and has written several books on the matter His ministry is called Voice of Evangelism www.wake-up.org has a free book
