How many monitors do you run?

I like to run two monitors on my desktop so I can do more things at once. In fact I'm currently watching tv, rebooting the OS on my mothers laptop, and writing this.
I just added a Satellite TV card to my desktop and am wondering if I should get another screen. I don't think I could run on one screen anymore.

What kind of graphics card do you have on your machine? I run on a Magnavox tv and a dell monitor with my GIGABYTE GV-N94TOC-1GH (aka nVidia GeForce 9400gt overclocked, with 1 Gigabyte of Video RAM. It has Dual DVI, (two dvi ports on it) and an S-Video/Composite/Standard video port on it. It requires an open PCI-E x16 port, 300 watt power supply. I use a DVI to HDMI cable I bought on ebay for $5 (from dynex), (Search "dynex dvi to hdmi cable" on ebay)*. And for standard video cable, usually there's a converter in the box. There's a DVI to VGA converter in the box.

Graphics card is nvidia 9600gt, don't know the make of the tuner card, it doesn't have any video out ports though.
I might set up my old CRT screen and see how I go before biting the bullet and getting another LCD

Hey,
I only have one monitor since I am using a laptop, but for some reason now I really want to have a desktop that has 2 monitors, it just helps me to have tasks completed in a much quicker manner. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
