Are you confident with what you look like?

Lots of people seem to disatisfied with what they look like or what features they have and complain about it. I think lots of us are pretty lucky to have limbs and healthy, it is good enough already, being pretty or having some special features is a bonus.
So I am happy to have what I was born to have and what I look like right now.
I am confident to wear the clothes and stuff that I pick up.
Are you?

I am very happy of what I am now .
I am alive, alert, average and satisfied of how
I look. I am unique as a person and I'm proud of it.
This is the gift of life that GOD let me borrow and
I should be thankful and grateful to this.
This image of mine is came from his face and beauty.

I am happy to have limbs and be healthy however...I'm overweight and thats not healthy..so i need to loose weight for health reasons. I've lost some and honestly i FEEL better more apt to do things rather than go oh im too tired. I have more energy.
The one thing I'm really unhappy with is..i scar VERY easily. I hate the scars but they are a part of me and I've stopped covering them up. I used to be embarrassed but them but even though they bug me esp newer ones they are a part of me.

No. Basically my body is missing the component in your blood that helps to fight infections and deals with phantic acid. So Phantic acid from food builds up in your system and causes more problems.
I heal VERY slowly - a cut that would take a week or so for anyone else to heal is around for a couple months on me. So then i scar. I have to be pretty careful not to get hurt - and i have to cut back on certain foods like beef, lamb, fish, dairy products, leafy greens because they contain phantic acid. I can tell when I have been eating too much of that sort of thing because i heal even slower. When i watch what i eat I almost heal normally. Almost.
It took 2 years of visits to doctors to get a sort of diagnosis on what i had - sort of because after he diagnosied what was wrong his office burnt down and the doctor transferred across the country. It took 8 years AFTER that to convince a doctor to take the time to go back through my records and find out the name of the disorder so i could deal with the problem. MANY appointments of asking and asking for someone to take the time and it was an intern who finally took the time to do it and help me. That was about 3 years ago and since then i heal much better because i know what to eat or not eat and how to deal with this.

Hmm, I think "satisfied" would be a more appropriate term for me. Im satisfied with how I look though I think its in our nature to "wish" for things that we wanted to have. Like "I wish I had a longer neck." or "I wish I dont have a double chin." Though on the outset, at least I look normal and have normal characteristics and features. If other people see something in me that they think make me special then I appreciate that.
As to the confidence bit in your discussion..let me put it this way: I really dont care enough what other people might see wrongly about me that it doesnt hinder me from doing what I want to do, wearing what I want to wear and just being me.
They can say what they wanna say, as long as Im happy and I know what Im doing doesnt hurt anybody then Ill be walking along the streets or in the middle of a huge crowd wearing my trademark jeans, t-shirt, rubber shoes, and ponytail.

Yes, I don't think it is a matter of what some random people says.

Of course because I know I look better compare to others. The out look of a person really really affects its out look of life. It is because some not good looking individuals are having a very shy character because they also know that they are not pretty or what. I think some people also have over confidence aside from being not a good looking. The conclusion is? I think every person should develop their individual behavior when it comes to personality.

I am happy with the way i look but i know there are things i need to improve. I am still trying to lose weight but i am so happy while doing it. I still like to look nice and good, especially maintaining a good posture. The most important part of life is to accept the things that God has given to us.
I think my skin is so good for any types or colors of dress. I just a bit problem with my tummy area hahahha. But yea i am willing to trim it and wear a super fitted top someday.
Love your body, eat well, drink plenty of fruit juices and water and it will give you the radiant glow you really need. Sometimes it only takes two or three days to see the effects. When i drink lots of fluid i noticed that my lips is so rosy red, and my skin is not so dry.
Happy mylotting and smile always!

No i do not like the way I look and sadly I don't think I ever will.
So many people have said very mean things to me that I just cant believe when some one calls me beautiful.
P.S I don't hate you I have to know you first and I don't.

Yes I am confident. Nobody is perfect and you can't have it all. I know that I am not a head turner hot babe but I am confident that I can easily make friends just by my smile and how I project myself. I don't need a goodlooking face but a deceiving behavior. Its what the personality that counts. I used to have a low self-esteem due to that my mother was always saying that I am an ugly duckling when I was younger. Now that I am a grown-up, I know she has mistaken and I look better these days with my imperfections as I have accepted myself's flaws and people love me for what I am. As long I am healthy and happy, I am fine.

I am not completely dissatisfied with the way I look, I know I have about 5-10 lbs that I could lose and I have a few flaws that make-up covers up nicely now that I am getting older and no longer have that young flawless skin I once had ...
I am mostly happy with the clothes I wear as I said I could use to lose a couple pounds but my clothes still fit the way they should but I am still within the weight that is suggested for my age.
the only thing I can really complain about is the fact that I cut my hair almost 2 months ago.... about 7 inches...and at first it was just a shock to me and now it is a pain on the days I just wish to throw it into a pony tail and run out of the house.... but that is really my only complaint.
Happy mylotting.

Life's too short to obsess about looks. I've got two of everything I should have two of, and one of everything else, and that will do for me. I'm a couple of stone overweight and too short, but I have nice hair and eyes, and a great suntan, so I accentuate the positive and get going. Funnily enough, when I go out for the evening I get more male attention than my younger, slimmer and prettier friends, which really upsets them, as I'm not in the market. I love my husband, and I'm happy with life, so perhaps it shows.

I'm pretty much happy with what I look like and i'm confident that everyone has a certain amount of beauty inside them. Personality and wit can far outweigh physical appearance. There are people who are not much to look at, but when you listen to them and you get something, you can't afford not to compliment the guy, if a person is funny and and friendly its so easy to socialize coz there are no boundaries or walls of standards that you need to meet.

Yes, I am... We should be confident on whatever we look... If we are confident, people would see a beautiful and will admire us. Believe me... Its just on how we project ourselves that matter.

I always believe in myself. Even the way i look. I always tell myself that I am pretty. When ever I get insecure, I reminded myself that it's not always the looks that matters but also the attitude. Besides I am beautiful in my own rights. We may not look the same but we're all humans.

I used to be unhappy when very young, but over the time I have gained the confidence.
I know that good look is coming with taking an easy and smile a lot...
I like easy style and easy clothes, but elegant at the same time...

Hey,
Honestly i dont have any complains about my looks. Never get bothered if some one else is not so good looking either.
I believe every creation of god is beautiful in some way and we better look at it this way.
Cheers,

being healthy is one thing and looking good is another very different..My looks were the only stuff that dissatisfied me and made me loose a lot of confidence but now i know that it doesn't really matter how you look unless its somewhere where it matters....so i m pretty confident and find myself ding much better...

what you look like will not give you real confidence. but what comes out from your mouth will give you confidence. having pretty face is not an assurance that you will be confident if you are dumb but being smart and articlate will help you to become confident when facing people.

Somedays im happy and somedays im not. My husband tells me all the time im goegeous, but right now being pregnant i get self conscious a lot. Whenever i try on clothes i get upset because from the front im like okay, this looks alright, then i turn to the side and have this huge belly and go NO! I LOOK HORRIBLE! I think im blessed to look the way i do, but somedays its hard to look in the mirror. Im sure everyone has their days though.
