Is the right thing to do always the difficult one?

While discussing another topic, this question came up. Doing the easy thing means to do the wrong choice?
Do you choose looking for the aesiest way or for the right thing? Can't be the simple the best? Life is complex enough as it is, does it need to be complicated somwhat more?

Hi, my friend. I think you are taking it reverse. A difficult thing is right may not be true but a right thing is always more difficult than the most wrong one. Maybe you may not get the best thing or the worst thing in mind all the time so you may misjudge the criterion.
Let`s have an example:
You are trying to choose between the keyboards , a mini and a standard size.
You may have difficulty in working with the mini one and not with the standard sized one. So, you may say that chosing the mini may be right but what is right or wrong in choosing a keyboard. Let`s find- If you can adjust with a mini, you acn always adjust with the standard one. You can carry the mini every where. I don`t want to say that choosing a mini is always right but you can find reasons.
Actually, Any one of the various right options available is always harder (in the begining only, as the world knows wrong works always end with difficulty)than the worst choice. We are talking about what may seem initially to the decider. How?
In any task, the easiest choice of the moment is not to choose any way i.e. why bother your mind just sit at home and relax. But, in my opinion, it is the worst thing and as you see it is easier than any other right choice.
Well, this is just my opinion, your opinion may be different. People have views.
One thing i would like to tell you that there are always some ways to contradict an argument with your own one, the best way is to test it in reality and then find out what is the truth (which, is by the way, the most difficult to try by yourself and is also the best).
Happy Mylotting!!

Welcome back!
I was waiting for your opinion. And I'm back to my standard size keyboard, so all the mistakes are my own fault :o)
I get what you are saying, but I still believe easy and difficult are not good standards in judging what is the right or wrong decision.
I agree that not deciding at all is still the worst, and I also agree that MOST OF THE TIME doing the easiest thing is the criteria that most people use in deciding, and often this brings them to do something wrong.
But it's not so simple.
I take myself as an example because I don't know how other people think.
When I decide something I first consider instint and feelings, then I consider reason. In the end, most of the time I choose by instinct KNOWING that it may not be the best choice in general, but it remains the only acceptable for me, because I know for experience that I would regret it the other way round. Rules, justice and morals are the limits that I put to myself. Other than this, I don't think thare's a completely wrong choice, if I decided it consciously.
I say that it's not the best choice, because it doesn't get me to the best result (this should be the criterion, isn't it?).
It isn't the easiest choice, either, and sometimes its very difficult indeed.
I also believe there isn't only one right thing to do.
Sometimes right and wrong don't make any meaning at all. Life just goes whereever it wants to.
Hope you give me your point of view again
Happy myLotting to you

Oh, sorry, i didn`t notice ur response as i was off mylot for a bit of a time and mylot didn`t notify me of ur comments via mail.
Firstly, thanks for the BR mark.
This time, i am in full agreement with u. I NEVER meant that this is the only and the best criterion for judging right and wrong. In fact, there are much better criteria for that, as u mentioned. I just wanted to put the two sides of the coin. Actually, the best way, as i mentioned, is to judge by experience.

I don't think so.
Well I'm not meaning that I choose the easy way for the fact that it's easy. I try to judge what would be better to do in any situation. If the distinction between right and wrong was so distinct, i would be easy to sort it out: just do de difficult thing!
I don't find it difficult to help a friend, for instance. Is it wrong?
It's veeery difficult to arrange a robbery. It would be easier to look for a job, I think. So in that case the difficult thing is he right one? Or easy and difficult are subjective, but right and wrong are not?
