What if you found a 5 dollar bill when you are walking down the street, I assume you will pick it up, so what would you do with it?
I think I will put it with my lunch money and save it for later becaues you cannot really do a lunch meal with 5 bucks besides fast food, maybe not even.
What about you?

buy a few odds and ends @ the grocery store like bread or fruit or milk.
Or use it for rummage sale money
Or I'd break the money up and use it for the kids allowance.

$5 would be equal to Php241 and that would almost be around my weekly allowance. I can say that that is a very good find on the streets.LOL Well, if I found that much cash then Id put it in the savings account of our business simulation project. We really need all the cash that we can get as part of savings and for emergency funds in case the receivables overwhelm the actual cash on hand and that would be a big problem.
Recently, I set aside my personal wants just to get through to this subject course, requires a lot of effort and a lot of resources. When I graduate though and have my first paycheck I would splurge it all on myself.LOL The thing is I dont know what to spend it on. I mean besides food, I dont really buy that many material things. For me, at least one or two at most would be enough for me.

Hmmmm i don't know really because I haven't seen a five dolar bill only a five euro LOL but i have seen and actually exchanged 10 and 20 dollars given by a friend. I think i'll add it to my collection of foreign currencies. I have one dollar and other paper money of different countries.

I would add it to my charity found or my vacation found. First is at home, second in the bank...I have it on the side and I don't spend it till grows into more...I add some money into it at least once a week. When I want to spend money...I just add it to my found...this way I am able to give away at least two hundred a year and have few for my vacations...

If I find a $ 5 like that while walking down the street, it would mean that is a lucky day. So, I would use the money to buy some lottery tickets, so it might bring in more surprises ! Hopefully ofcourse ! Ha ha !

Hello mermaidivy,
I don't normally pick up the money that I found on the street. Back to your question, $5 is almost RM20 in my local currency. With that money, I can have a nice food for lunch. In fact, if I eat cheap and decent food, it will allow me to have lunch for 2-3 days!

I have this thing that I do when I find money in public places. I take it home and put it in old coat pockets so in the wintertime I am always excited to find money that I forgot was there! I still can't really buy anything, but it's a fun start to the day. :)
