Best dog names

Hello fellow myLoters, what are the names that you have given to your dogs. I just wanted to know what kind of names people were giving to their dogs lately and why.
Is there a story to why you named it, or a characteristic of the dog that reminded you of someone or something. My dog's name is shadow, we named him shadow because his fur is black and he always follows us around =].

When I was little our Dog was Hoover like the Vacuum because he sucked up food before it ever hit the floor!

I don't own a dog but I know family and friends that do! One brother has golden retriever named Zeus. They have a light brown greman sheperd named Thor. Those are a names of a greek god and a norweign god! My sister in law loves unigue names for the family pets! I have a friend who has a black lab. Her name is Irma. He got the name form a hotel by the same name while in Wyoming a year ago! Another friend has a black and white order collie. He named him smokey because he just liked the name! The friend who has a black lab had a yellow lab for years. Her name was Jazzman. My friends daughter named her after Jazzmen from the Alladdin movie! You never know what and why people name their dogs they do! It can be a mystery!

We named our dog Labby, as she is a yellow Labrodor. We have been thinking of a name for her when we first have her. We have been thinking of a few female names, but we were still not satisfied. This is the first dog we have, and we understand that it has to be a simple name for her to recognize her own name, sudden;y Labby just came into my husband's mind, and that's about it.

Negra is the best dog name. it was the name of my first pet dog. She was the most amazing dog in the world.
