So I was reading about this teacher who was recording videos forcing retarded kids to fight each-other in a school fight club. It's been a little while since I read this, but here's what I remember of it... This guy handed his girlfriend this cellphone that he found lying around, that belonged to the teacher. The girl found footage of the the fights, so she contacted police about it. NOW, the defense is stating that the cellphone is stolen property, and that it can't be used as evidence! There are 2 things that piss me off about this! 1. How can it be stolen if it was found lying around? This is actually the prosecutor's stance on the issue, and I think that he's right, it was abandoned by it's original owner, so how could it be stolen? Also, isn't the Plaintiff turning the phone in as evidence? Wouldn't the judge just be able to give the phone back to the defendant? Either way, it's going back to it's original owner, so in my eyes, it's not stolen, and if it ever was taken, it's being returned. 2. WHO CARES IF IT'S STOLEN OR NOT? If there's footage on the phone of this guy using a school fight club to degrade kids with mental retardation, then that should be evidence, regardless of whether it's stolen or not! And that should be enough to prove the defense is guilty! And here's the WORST part about it! The judge may actually side with the defense, and is thinking of barring the cell phone as a possible piece of evidence in the case. I'm being 100% sincere when I say THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD! WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR LEGAL SYSTEM!? ARE WE REALLY THAT CORRUPTED!?

I would believe so, to, with what I've seen of this case.
