I like to eat at some nice restaurant once in a while to try some sort of food that I don't know how to cook at home. I tend to do that at least once a month, for the regular days, I just cook at home.
For the last couple days, I have been eating out for lunch, breakfast and dinner becauseI didn't really stay at home for the weekend. I had pizza, Chinese food, Japanese food, burgers, buffet etc withinth the last couple days, it was good, it fully satisfied my food desire! It won't be good if we do it always though, homemade food is always better for health!
What about you? How often do you eat out once? What do you like to have?

Im not really used to eating out for dinner unless Im out with my friends and we happen to just spend time together and having fun that we were still together during dinner time.LOL I also do not have the funds to eat out that often.
Though Im forced to take my lunch outside because of my class schedules. My residence is a good 30 minutes away from the school and I only get to have around 3 hours of free time in the morning so I just eat out. Let's me finish the assignments early so I wouldnt have to worry about them anymore when I get home.^_^

wow, you are lucky you get to do that often, me and my husband cannot do it as often as we like because of the tight budget we are having lately...we must save and save and save. money is really tight lately.

I don't usually eat out if I'm just staying at home the whole day. But whenever I have the chance, I usually eat out with friends or with my family. I love eating at restaurants that I've never been to or sometimes I just prefer the usual places I've tried before. I'm a huge fan of pizza so sometimes I'd rather just have that instead of eating fancy or big meals. I've learned to love Thai food as well, I just love spicy food. Japs, Indian or Mexican food is on my list, definitely some of the options I'd choose from.

I tend to eat out about twice a month for dinner. Cook at home remainde of the time. I like most types of foods but steak at a good restaurant is always a pleasurable experience in a nice relaxing environment.

Hello mermaidivy,
If I don't know what to cook or feel too tired, we will dine out. Sometimes, I will just buy something or the way home and we eat at home. Like you, I prefer to cook for the family as I can always prepare good and healthy meals for them. Just that during weekdays, I can only prepare simple meals for my family as I have just too many house chores to do after 5p.m.

Almost every Sunday my family dines out for dinner. After going to mass and visiting the columbarium where my mom's ashes are kept we go and hunt for something good to eat. My dad's favorites are steaks and my brothers and sister likes Japanese foods.
But if you'd ask me, I'd rather dine at home. I like home cooked meals. They're a lot, lot cheaper and yes healthier. Besides, dining out every weekends is becoming a little boring for me. My taste buds gets too exhausted hehe and my craving for good food isn't that intense anymore. Maybe the excitement is lessened if we get to do it on a regular basis.
Ciao!

My family and I regularly eat out. My mom loves to eat out. It's something that my mom's family has been doing since they were little and I guess she got used to it. I totally enjoy eating out. We get to try new things once in a while, but we always come back for favorites - to the point that the Servers and the Restaurant Manager already know us and what we like... We automatically get discounts each time we dine in because we're regular guests. It's really nice and we don't have to get these discount cards.

I just eat out for dinner if I have lots of extra money .
Or just received allowances unexpectedly arrived.
I loved to go out the family for dinner.
My kids really love it. I not do it usually for it is
so expensive than cooking at home wecan save less.
Now a days we should have to hold our belts for everything
goes high and up.
So I just limit in outing ways.

Yes once in a while eating out really makes you feel good. We always try something new by asking the manager what best he has. If not satisfied, which is very rare, we go for the tested ones.

We love Chinese buffets and we will usually go once every other month. Other than that we will get pizza take out once every two weeks at less than $10 at the local pizza place. We try to limit trips to McD's as I don't really prefer their food and when we do I keep it cheap by skipping the Happy Meals and going for the ten piece nuggets for my kids to share. Only other place we go is a local diner on the "kids eat free" day.

We hardly ever go out and if we do it isnt really a resturant as we cant afford that. If we are lucky we get to Chinese Buffet. We all love their food and it is like 7 bucks a person. They have all types of food too!
I basically cook everyday of the week. I do like it when I get a break, that normally occurs when we get to go on our yearly trip but then that is just me and hubby time.

Hello Ivy. I eat out every weekend, Satudays and Sundays, for lunch. I would go to the restaurants in the City where they have nice buffets. I prefer buffets , because there I can enjoy a variety of cuisines. Some times I go to Chinese and Japanese restaurants too. Tapmura , sashimi, and sushi are some of my favorites in a Japanese restaurants.

I tend to avoid eating out mostly because I don't have the money to do so. When I was living in China, I would eat out all the time because it was cheaper to eat out than to cook. That is not the case here. I eat in for financial reasons as well as for health reasons. When I had a good job (if you want to call it that), I would eat at the McDonald's down the street from the office every day until I finally decided that I could bring a lunch. But I wasn't able to do that every day so I ate burgers or chicken sandwiches every day. Needless to say, I wound up with diabetes and moderately high cholesterol. After living in China for two years, I got over both of those so now I avoid eating out most of the time. Have a great day!!!

I rarely eat breakfast out unless someone has an early doctor's appointment, or we have to be up and out early for some other reason, then I will go through the McDonalds drive thru and get an Egg McMuffin or Two depending on how hungery I am. I eat lunch out maybe once a week, only eat dinner out maybe once every two weeks. We will just get what ever we are in the mood for at that time. The last time we ate dinner out we went to a buffet, with three kids it is usually the cheapest way to go.
