I have read hundreds of books but only one (ever) did I throw away "Communion" Its the only book that comes to mind. I don't know why but the book left me feeling very weird and maybe even scared and I love out of the box horror, aliens, murder mysteries, vampires, magic and true tales - it just left me cold so I destroyed it.

I have never read the book and I have to admit I agree with you. I have had enough of that book and can't stand it or the movies. I have no desire to even try to read it.

Hi Swashbuckle, I sometimes come across a book I just toss to one side and don't finish, but not often. Burning of books to me though is an emotive subject and I believe no book should ever be burned or destroyed. Look back at history and see that the destruction of books is the start of destruction of society as we know it. Burning of books on cristalnict preceeded the holocaust, destruction of books was a major part of the cultural revolution in China. Sorry to go off topic but the nature of your title provoked this response.

Twilight and Anne Rice novels, not because of the vampires but because of the first-person, mush writing. Ugh.
