SHould there be an age limit on having a baby? Is 40 to old is 55 to old. What if by some odd chance you get pregnant in your late 40's even though you were using protection.
What would you do if this happened to you?

I think there should be an age limit on giving birth to children. For one, a person need to make sure they will be able to take care of the child physically and mentally until they are at least 18 years old. They may not live long enough to see grandchildren either if they wait too long to have a child.

well whatever is healthy for the mother i guess which would be about 40 or so, after that you are just asking for problems. also, the energy level of an older mother is just not there. imagine giving birth at 40 and and almost being ready for retirement when your child is 20! i get gray hair from my teen already and i am in my 40's i cant imagine the patience level of a 60 year old!

I think 50 is just about limit. Birthing gets pretty dangerous at about that age. And we can consider the negative stigma children feel at school by being raised by non-traditionally aged parents.
