Rising price of a packet

I've heard a rumours that the next rise in cigarette tax gonna make a packet of 25s here in Australia cost AU$20. Limitations on place I can smoke is getting more strict every year too. I admit that these are good things after all (i.e. smoking is bad), but at the same time, things seem to have become really tough on addicts like me! I've also heard that tobacco companies in developed countries are now targetting developing countries where cigarette tax is still low. What are the situations in your country?
