What's your opinion on advertisements on TV?

Nowadays,more and more advertisements are played on the TV, commercial ad.,commonweal ad. etc.some are well reviewed, some are not.
Every coin has two sides. Some advertisements can make us know the latest products, some make us get familiar with some cities.
Sometimes, we buy some new makeups,other commodities or something else after we watched a ad..
What's your opinion about ad? Whether it affect you or your friends?

There are too many of them, that's the problem. 10 minutes od program, then two or three minutes of commercials. I once read, long time aqo that companys are not concerned about people not paying attention to their commercials, but whether people are even seeing their commercials with these remote controls. Commercials comem on and people start surfing. My girlfriend does that. It does seem that the networks are all in sync so when a commercial comes on one station, commercials are on all the other stations too. And there are 5, 6 or seven of them. I don't know if you've watched movies on hulu but they have at most, one 30 second commercial then it goes right back to the movie. If TV stations did that, pelople would have to watch the commecial. no time to surf or you m iss half of the movie. Now I know stations couldn't survive on that but may be they could charge the companies more. It would be beneficial to them. plus people wouldn't mind commercials because it's only one . or even two.
