Does anyone know of a really good, honest -- slightly inexpensive web hosting service? I just signed up under justhost.com and got screwed. i have asked for my money back so we will see. They assured me a quick set up. It was supposed to be up and going in 24 hours but it has been several days and they have failed to send me a login name and password. Hopefully I will get my money back.... I learned though! Anyone know of a good one?

Thanks! i will have to check them out. I am with Weebly right now and having decent success. But is't also very good to know of some backups in case anything goes wrong or I get stuck! Thanks!

There are so many good Web Hosting sites.
If You are interested in html & php based site you should visit www.freehostia.com
it gives you free hosting for one year. i think in its field they are the best

I use http://www.godaddy.com and I am happy with them....they are only like $6 a month for hosting...and they even have complete site templates (editable) if you are in a hurry or if you have no idea how to make a website....

Thanks for the 411! I have been looking at godaddy but wasn't sure about them. I don't really need a template I can do my own design as I have been maintaining a website for sseveral years now.... I am just under someone else at ixhosting who seem to be pretty good too... just a little expensive to get started! Thanx!

Thanks for the advice. I will check it out. I think I have already been screwed by one who was rated fairly high. It's justhost.com. I can't get any reply emails and I already asked for my money back. I would like to know who to report it to... Somethng like the Better Business Bereau.... thanks

I can say u the best one.. i tried a site and i found it as top 5 website providers.. u should go and try and its free and got awesome features which other webhosters dont offer and its easy to create andone can create a basic or a professionals.. its free to create and if u go paid it has more features..its called as http://www.wetpaint.com/ and u also can check my site i created free and using it for a year.. http://welcome.to/tcd
