would you give money to a beggar in a street? It's said some of them are not real poor, they just want to get money easily.what do you think?

I don't see what the harm is? I've heard that too, but sometimes if people just need change to take the bus or a drink they usually tell me that, so being that they were honest I give it to them.

Why don't you volunteer your time at a mission, then you will KNOW who the poor truely are and you can then give them your money and not be worried about placing judgment on anyone.

Look if the person is physically alright and can earn money by some way. If a person is too old or if he is physically handicapped to an extent he cannot do any work, u can help them by giving some food or cloth
