No. I did not read even a single term before registering with mylot . But I used to read one by one, when ever I get some doubts in the procedures of mylot and also most of the mylot members guided me with the relevant links from the terms and FAQ so that I can understand them. Still I am not entirely familiar with all the terms ,but I am sure that I know at least 70% of the mylot terms and everyday we are have to search for some terms when situations are arising. Hopefully I will read them all within two or three months. Also no one can read such enormous terms and FAQs before registration.

Hi harshrosicky, I have read the mylot guidelines. I am not sure why members get banned other than the obvious reasons. But I also read about members coming back again on a different id and saying so openly . I get confused at times. If a member is banned is it for ever? or can they come back with a different id ? However to come back to your question I am sure there are many reasons why they get banned, main reason would be stealing others discussions, which happens all the time....

I did not read the guideline before signing. Maybe I should do it, but till now, everything seems fine. I don't need to worry about it.

Harsh- There is already several threads on this, though there is another Mylotter who had them bookmarked and I'm sure she'll respond to your thread with the appropriate links. I've read through them, and section 12 is very important to me. If someone on here is harrassing another for any reason, if enough people report that behavior the person can be banned. Now, yes, I've seen some people get banned for what I never understood but they came back with new user names and are happily mylotting again. Some have not come back at all. My suggestion to you would be to read through the Mylot terms of service, familiarize yourself with them, and take note of those members who have been on here for a long time and learn from them. Yes, I read the MyLot guidelines. The top three reasons people get banned for are spamming, cheating, and scamming. It's pretty easy not to do that. So, as long as you don't do that, you won't be banned.

Basic things to ponder for you to be safe not to be banned in the future is to follow the term and conditions or rules.
