Easy Listening Music Anyone?

Last night I go home riding a bus coz I could not start my car and seems it has battery problems. So I decided to leave the car in the office and give instructions on the motorpool about the problem - t'was a company car. My husband is on a project somewhere north and I need to go home alone. Home is south off Manila and the best way to get there would be the bus and so at least I can rest a bit on the way.
I have chosen a bus which does not have a tv since I want some peace when I travel and not watch those melancholy drama/movies on tv screens. I rode a bus with soft lights and comfy seats and soon as I paid the fare, closed my eyes and picture a restful trip on my mind. During the trip, I noticed the radio station was playing easy listening music. First I heard was Enya. I have nothing against Enya but I am simply not much of a fan of her music. I sighed and pretended to be lured with the music. Next on music cue was Avril's 'When You're Gone.' I opened my eyes and see if there was anybody inside the bus with the same startled reaction as mine. Seems everyone was a-okay or they just don't care about the music playing. I opened the small night light on my side of the seat and try to just read with my book. After Avril, a familiar song played "Reunited" but it was just a rendition and not the original Peaches and Herb team. To tell you frankly, I don't like the sound of how they sang the song. And the rest of the not-so-good 'easy listening' music pieces followed and it was the most lousy bus trip I had.
You see I have nothing against the artists that sang during my bus trip, I listen to them yes but not on the so-called 'easy listening' moment I want. Sometimes these radio stations don't just have the 'right' music to play for the slot on easy listening. Moral lesson: never leave your home without your iPod hahahaha!

Haha I like easy listening music, certain ones... like classical music, but yeah I must have my own timing to listen to these music types. Sometimes radio stations just mix such songs with other songs that I don't like, ruining that moment where I want just easy listening music only.hehe

Ok, I will take your advice. I will not leave without my iPod. Ha ha ! Any way, I like listening to music on the radio, TV, or CD. I have a collection of CD's of classical music. I listen to them every evening after I get back home from work.

I like some classical pieces and listen to them sometimes. And thank you for taking my advice not leaving your iPod at home in case you will have the same experience as mine. :-P
