Why lie to make money?

Okay if you ask me I am so sick and tired of these innocent faced ppl that are really thieves. They ask you to sign up and then take your money. And now its to the point where they tell you "sign up with no fees upfront" and then on the second page they are asking you to place your credit card number because they have been burned or something stupid to that sense. I know that I don't like datamoneyonline.com bc of this reason and the reports that I have read about them. I haven't found a good one yet. I had a work at home job and loved it but decided to get out of the house and now that I have moved I am going back to that job. It's liveops.com. They have great reveiws and the company is fun to work with. They are there to help and you make great friends in the process in the chat rooms. But what scams have you been involved in and how did you handle the situation?
