Landline vs. Cell phone to make calls

When at home, do you usually use your landline to make a call, or do you use your cellphone to call even when there's landline available?

When I'm home, I only use the landline. I generally turn the cell phone off as soon as I get home. I just generally don't like talking on the cell phone anyways. Sometimes I just turn the cell phone off because I get sick of all the phone calls I'll get during the day when I'm away from home.

I try to make myself use land line as much as i can, but for some reason my mum doesn't like it, she keeps on calling my cell phone even if she knows i'm home... land line is safer because it doesn't produce such insane amounts of electro magnetic interference line cell phone does
