I am a chinese, and I prefer my child a girl, and I was lucky enough to have a lovely daughter the year before last.I think daughter could be more careful to her parents than a boy.Yet,some people are hard to agree with my opinion. What's your idea about this topic?

Boy or girl, it all depends on how you are raised and the kids personality. When I found out I was prego with my first, I wanted it to be a girl. Well she was. But now that she is older, I think to myself...what was I thinking? Girls are harder to handle than boys, especially during puberty. And now that I have my little man, there is a special bond between us. He is momma's little guy and my daughter is her daddy's little girl.

Since I am a woman, definitely I would prefer a baby girl.
It is nice to dress up a girl. Putting pins on her hair.
Buying those nice little dresses brings joy to me.
I think fathers would want a boy because it would carry their
names. While a mother , understandably would want a girl.
The most important thing is that the baby has to be healthy. ![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

aren't you then one of the few chinese who do want a girl more because of the law in china about only having one child? I don't mind if i have a boy or girl but i would like one of each.
