I also like BPI. I have their credit card and planning to open a savings account with them. I commend their service, all customer service are very friendly and easy to talk to. I just recently change my status from being single to married. I just call them then they just requested me to fax my marriage contract after a week when I call them up again, my profile was already updated. I am so happy with their sevice because when I have the same case with BDO, the customer service was already charging me P450.00 for the changes, he told me that If I don't pay P450, I cannot change my status because it is their procedure and that it is automatic to them to re-issue a new card with my new name but i told him that I still don't need a new credit card with a new name because I still don't have a valid ID on hand and I might have problem purchasing using the new card they are planning to issue me since some merchant are requesting for a valid ID before purchase. To cut the story short, I didn't accept their requirement and my status with them is not yet change. This is not the first time I had problem with them, their personnel has no initiative and logic in handling their customers. Thanks for posting this. Happy myloting.

I prefer BPI as well because it is widely accessible in the Metro. Most of my transactions in this bank is pretty smooth. no hassles at all.i especially like their feature of being able to deposit directly to the atm. you have to wait for 3 days to credit the amount on your account but it's worth the wait because you have saved time. i usually check my account online and it is very convenient. i also have credit card with them and sometimes i pay online deducted through my atm account. so far this bank is no. 1 for me. thanks.

Hi.entrepinoy I dont know the bank BPI have service in my country. In my country there are a lot of nationalised banks, means they are the Government of India undertaken banks or Govenment banks. May be they are pro poor, pro farmers, pro women or pro industrialists. But I dont like these Government banks. I like the new Generation Banks like ICICI,Citibank, HDFG, Standard & Chartered, Axis, ABN AMRO etc..... They will charge us heavily, there are hidden charges but their service is quick. Finally we want the quick service. Obviously, we have to pay for that . It is OK with me. Because time is also money, So what time we are saving the money we are saving, Happy mylotting and Good Night

I am much of a landbank client since that's the most convenient for me. The Landbank branch is nearer to our place and the ATMs are more accessible to me.

I love BDO or Metrobank because I already used of their system...

I prefer BDO because it of its extended banking hours and when you need to bank you can just go to the nearest mall, doing your banking and shopping in the same day! Lol! Next inline to BDO for me is Metrobank because that is the bank my company uses so when payday comes, I always go to Metrobank. :)

My daughter and I both have accounts at BDO... and i chose that bank mainly because they are open even during Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 7 pm when the bank is located in a mall... so it is very convinient for me since if i want to make a deposite i can always do that during weekends...

Yes bpi is a good bank. But now i'm thinking on switching to bdo. Because bdo atms are very abundant. Its like jollibee, every street you can see it. lol! Based on their service, i cannot really differentiate. Maybe in the future when i i have my own company to run. Happy mylotting!

I have been a BDO account holder since 1997. So far, I find it one of the most stable banks in the country. One thing that I like is the extended hours they have located in different malls. You can easily go and do your transactions. I find the bank employees very accommodating.
